Twenty years have passed since the deadliest terror attack on American soil. In addition to overwhelming grief and fear, Americans also suffered a profound lack of understanding—we, quite literally, didn’t know what had hit us. Since then, our collective and my personal quest to learn about the individuals and organization that so devastated our country have provided some answers. Please join us to unpack the history, ideology, objectives, and methods of those who perpetrated the atrocities inflicted on America and its people on 9/11, and to piece together the roles of Afghan history, the Soviet Union, the Taliban, the Saudis, and radical Islamist terrorism in making Osama bin Laden’s vision of horror a momentary reality.
