Abstract artist, Piet Mondrian, began his career in the Netherlands with strong influences from his theological background. As his artistic style developed, he moved to Paris but World War II forced the artist to seek refuge in America. His love of Jazz and the electric atmosphere of his new home, New York City, further influenced the work of the artist. This presentation will take a look at his changing style and highlight those life-altering moments.
