Description

While many St. Louisans know that we hosted a World’s Fair in 1904, no one alive today was actually there. But thanks to historic documents, we can know what it was like! Recently, the Missouri Historical Society collection acquired the diary of Adele Quinette Phelps, which chronicles her experiences at the fair. Join us as an archivist shares excerpts from the Phelps diary, as well as letters and journal entries of others who were at the fair.
