Description
St. Louis is located near the second longest river in North America, the Mississippi River. The Mississippi River provided many opportunities not only for Native Americans but for settlers as well. However, what would have happened if more voyagers located to the area during the city’s early growth? Would the river’s condition be different today? What events contributed to the pollution? Take a journey to the St. Louis Aquarium and learn what happened to the Mississippi River and how you can help. A guided tour of the St. Louis Aquarium will follow this program.
