Description
This interactive Italian language and culture program will use pesto and Italian food traditions as a foundation for practical conversation, vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar. Participants will practice describing ingredients and flavors, expressing preferences, discussing food preparation, ordering food and participating in simple real-life dialogues. The program will also explore pesto alla Genovese, the region of Liguria and the importance of food, hospitality and shared meals in Italian culture.
This is an Italian language program rather than a cooking class.
