Has it been a while since you’ve been on a ferry across the river? This is your chance to do some biking and enjoy a ferry ride across the Missouri River. This will be an enjoyable (mostly flat) scenic ride starting at the Black Walnut Trailhead on the Katy Trail. The ride will be on the Katy Trail for a short time and then on back roads to the Grafton Ferry. Ride will be on low traffic roads for most of the ride. There is a $6 fee each way for the ferry. Once you arrive in beautiful Grafton, Illinois, you will enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurants near the ferry landing. The ride is approximately 10 miles each way.
