Description
Jon us for this two- part class focusing on Jews defending themselves and the “righteous among the nations” who rescued them, often at great personal risk. Rather than being led “like sheep to the slaughter,” Jewish responses ranged from armed resistance- uprising in ghettos and camps- to acts of spiritual and cultural resistance, maintaining human dignity and faith. The “righteous” came from various backgrounds, from well-known names like Oskar Schindler, to lesser known, though equally courageous, individuals and groups.
