Participants will also learn about influential artists such as Ray Charles, Fats Domino, Sam Cooke, Chuck Berry, and James Brown. The session highlights Cole’s role in integrating television as the first Black artist with his own TV series, using film clips, songs, and lyrics to bring this pivotal era to life.
