Bletchley Park was the top-secret home of the World War II “codebreakers”—more than 9,000 men and women who intercepted and cracked German war messages. This class explores the history of Bletchley Park from 1939 to 1946, including the stories of those who worked there and how German messages were captured and decoded. We’ll look at the breaking of the Enigma and Lorenz codes, the Battle of the Atlantic, and the creation of the Colossus computer.
