Join us for a Common Ground Workshop on Addressing Immigration!
This workshop will bring together a small group from our community for a deep dive into an important and often divisive topic: immigration policy and its implementation. The experience is part of the American Hope Campaign, a national project sponsored by Braver Angels, an organization with a successful track record of helping individuals, families and groups improve mutual understanding despite political differences.
Goals of the workshop:
- To learn more about the state of US immigration policy and its implementation
- To understand participants’ views on immigration and the experiences and values that shape them
- To identify points of agreement, building them into common ground for potential actions and recommendations to policy makers
The workshop format requires an equal number of participants who Lean Liberal and Lean Conservative. We will also include some participants for whom these categories are uncomfortable. If you’re interested, please click on the survey link below for more information.
