Description
This presentation will focus on the Forbidden City as the residence of the Ming and Qing dynasty emperors but will also include the architecture and art of the Forbidden City. It will look at daily life, court ceremony, imperial Chinese politics, and the history of the Forbidden City since 1911 when the last imperial dynasty was replaced by a republic.
