Of course the globe is globalized. Globalization assures that the world is on connected paths. It also guarantees that these paths are not united. Women are buffeted by globalization’s challenges even as they embrace its opportunities. We explore the so-called paradox of globalization according to economic outcomes for women. We offer strategies for navigating globalization’s rocky road that can play out successfully for women in the developing world and in our own communities.
