Learn about mindfulness, meditation, and the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program
created in 1979. Because of the experiential nature of these practices, this program offers some brief sessions of focused awareness and body awareness, thus making the presentation more interactive and engaging. The formal and informal practices covered in this program will help shed light onto the classic 8-week MBSR course, as well as explain how mindfulness and meditation can be integrated in one’s everyday life to better cope with the stresses of daily living, chronic pain, anxiety, life transitions.
