Chancellor Jeff Pittman of St. Louis Community College and Chancellor Emeritus Mark Wrighton of Washington University will each present information about the current and future role of St. Louis Community College. Chancellor Pittman will present education and training programs offered in our community by the College that are vital to having a talented workforce to support expansion of current employers and to attract new companies to our region. Challenges include the need to expand specialized facilities for programs to prepare people for jobs in healthcare, biotechnology, financial services, and advanced manufacturing. Professor Wrighton will summarize the importance of Proposition R to enhance the support to St. Louis Community College.
