Part 3: Rediscovering Community

Author John Ortberg wrote, “To experience community is to know the joy of belonging, the delight of being known and loved, the opportunity for giving and growing, the safety of finding a true home.” This class will explore different definitions of community and how to interpret the meaning of community for different people. Since the advent of the coronavirus pandemic, people worldwide have been impacted in different ways—of which, one involves being isolated from others and feeling a loss of connection to a community. Participants are expected to share how they are overcoming isolation and rediscovering what community means to them individually and collectively as a group.
