At the end of the Fair (and throughout its seven months), the trash that 20,000,000 visitors produced had to be put somewhere! Parts of the park were used for landfills, and what an exciting landfill it was. Along with pieces of souvenir ceramics, we uncovered pieces of plaster statues and architectural building features, not to mention nails, a pot handle, a chain, glass bottles, buttons, fragments of stained glass, and so much more.
