Description
Join us for a creative and spiritual workshop on making a mala, a traditional string of beads used in Hinduism for prayer and meditation. The term “mala” comes from the Sanskrit word meaning “garland,” which enhances spiritual practice. With origins dating back over 3,000 years in India, malas are deeply connected to grounding and mental clarity. Typically consisting of 108 beads, they serve as tools for counting mantras, prayers, intentions, breaths, or practicing gratitude meditation. Participants will learn how to create their own mala, which can also be worn as a necklace, providing a lasting reminder of their spiritual practice.
