Description

Human waves.  The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.  Threats against Israel.  Hizballah.  Yemen.  The nuclear program.  Many of the most effective militias confronting ISIS in Iraq and Syria have been Iranian.  We will focus on its foreign policy, from the ascendancy of the Ayatollah through the death of Qassem Soleimani.  Please join us to examine the (mostly regional) foreign policy actions and objectives of Revolutionary Iran that will outline its friends, foes, capabilities, and limitations. This is our second installment of Katie Hagerty Young’s exploration of Iran, but works as a stand-alone class.
